This is a very velvety porter. Just not robust enough to be one of The Black Flags charter beer.
For homebrewers to brew a 5 gallon batch, recipe follows:
9 lbs pale malt
1 lb chocolate malt
1 lb caramel malt
1 lb american crystal malt 120L
1 oz Willamette 30 min
1 oz EK Goldings 15 min
Mash in at 120 for 30 minutes. Raise temp to 135 for 30 minutes. Raise to 150 for thirty minutes.
Sparge at 175 for 90 minutes.
OG: 1.058
FG: 1.016
